Sams Club - Rude management and employees
I reported the entrance door greeter Linda to management 3/15/15 because she is not professional and likes to argue with customers. My husband and I decided to get a membership and Linda rudely asked my husband loudly "Where do you think you going? My husband was only going to get a basket to put my daughter in and head over to the membership location. I reported her to the manager and he was nonchalant and agreed that Linda's behavior was correct. We both have professional jobs that are full time and we are not her children.
3/23/15, My mother and I visited the store and the same greeter is at the door Linda. She rudely demanded that we show her our card. I told Linda that my husband and I came into the store yesterday and no one demanded to see a card. They only asks for a card at the register. Why would I come into the store and know that the store requires a membership? I showed her the card and she proceeded to make a snide remark to a DirectTV salesman standing at the door with her. She said, "See how people have a nasty attitude." We never once spoke to her rude. My mother and I reported her to the manager Wendy, after we made it to the register. A supervisor named Anthony came up to the register and heard me ask the cashier the greeter's name. He mentioned, "You all do not need to know that." Is it his job to come up to the register to make a rude statement. It is a shame that members pay so much to join this club and the managers promote rude behavior. Why not hire staff that appreciate their job and are respectful. Every customer is not right, but it does not give you a right to stand there and argue with them about ignorant things.

At the end of the day respect is everything and customer service.
Yes, everyone must show a card to enter and shop. It keeps the thieves and bums out.
It's your decision to buy membership cards, in stores like Sam's. Myself, I won't by a membership to shop in any type of store.
