The Sams club we used is in Tulsa, OK

Original review posted by user Apr 14, 2018

Filed an extended warranty claim with Square Trade . We purchased the warranty the same time that the TV was purchased from Sams Club in Tulsa, OK.

Square trade emailed back that if we wanted the TV fixed that our only option was to go to a licensed repair shop, and take the 70'' TV there for repair. Square Trade Warranty then said to send them the repair bill for review. What a joke! They are suppose to send a Technician to our home and repair the TV.

That is what the warranty says anyway! Warranty does not expire until 2019. Contacted Sams Club main office, and have not received a reply back. This is a worthless warranty company that takes your money and will not repair our TV when it went out.

It does not even light up and since we told them that they know it is probably had it.

Would cost more to fix it then its worth most likely. If we had it fixed they most likely would have a hundred reasons for not paying for the repair and we would be stuck with it.

Product or Service Mentioned: Sams Club Tv Repair.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

First of all, Vizio is not the most reliable telly out there, but Walmart likes to sell them plus other cheapos as they make a good profit and people like to think they are getting a good deal due to the cheap price as opposed to a better brand like Panasonic, etc. Also, never, ever fall for the "extended warranty" nonsense. As you now know, they are usually a bad deal.

Sams Club = Please find another TV Warranty Company that will actually do what they say they will.
