I've been buying gas from Sam's Club for years, what happened was my engine light came on, so I went to a Firestone and they did a quick check and said that something to do with oxygen in the fuel sensors? that I needed to get a diagnostic check, so I went to my dealer to get a second opinion and my friend (sales person) ask me where I was buying Gas, I said at Sam's Club.

So they did a diagnostic check and smoke check and found that all oxygen sensors were rusted and all needed replaced. The cost of this job was over $4,000 + dollars. I bought the Chevy Equinox back in 2014 only three years an a couple mos.

So Sam's fuel has water in the gas and will do damage to your car's engine. When traveling I always looked for a Sam's club to refuel, I will never buy fuel from them again.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

I too have been filling my tank with fuel from Sam's Club on a regular basis since the beginning of this year. On 9-8-2021, I filled my gas tank at Sam's Club in Southfield, MI.

The next day....the exact same issue occurred. I suspected that the fuel was the source of the problem. It's a 2015 KIA Optima, and it is highly unusual for this type of mechanical failure to occur. It is otherwise in great condition with only 71,600 miles.

The repair is expensive. I no longer have an accurate fuel level indicator. Everysince that day, the gas light is flashing and the level is reflected as below Empty. The digital display for "miles til empty" also flashes with dashes----no numbers.

Sometimes the gage shoots up to FULL and the digital display is shows an inaccurate inflated number.

Then it suddendly drops back to empty. I hope that Sam's Club can help me resolve this matter.

Probably not just water. It's a recurring problem and this time in July they put diesel in all of their tanks!!
