MY LAST 4 VISITS TO SAMS CLUB HAVE BEEN VERY CONFUSSING AND DOWN RIGHT UGLY AT CHECK OUT TIME. THE NEW CHECK OUT SYSTEM AT THE CLUB NEEDS TO BE WRITTEN OUT FOR ALL CUSTOMERS TO READ AND KNOW.

EACH CHECK OUT PERSON HAS THIER OWN VERSION OF HOW TO DO IT. I GO ONCE A WEEK TO BUY MY WEEKLY MENU NEEDS, OFFICE SUPPLIES, AND CLEANING SUPPLIES. I PUT MY ITEMS ON A FLAT,BECAUSE I BUY BULK. AT ONE CHECK OUT DAY I WAS TOLD I NOW HAVE TO UNLOAD ALL MY ITEMS ON THE NEW CHECK OUT BELT WHEN I FINALLY GOT EVERTHING UNLOADED AS TOLD THEN I WAS TOLD NO I MUST PUT EVERYTHING BACK ON MY CART AND GO THROUGH THE FLAT LINE AT EITHER END OF THE CHECK OUT LINES--NO ONE WAS THERE TO WORK THESE LINES SO THE GIRL DECIDED SHE WOULD CHECK ME OUT HERSELF BY THIS TIME MOST OF MY COLD AND FROZEN ITEMS WERE ALMOST HOT.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO SAMS IN ALEXANDRIA SINCE THEY OPENED I USE TO PUT MY LOADED DOWN BASKET OR FLAT BY THE CHECK OUT PERSON AND THEY SCANNED THE ITEMS AND THEN PLACED THEM INTO ANOTHER BASKET OR FLAT AND EVEERYTHING WENT OK UNTIL I WOULD GET A LAZY PERSON WHO DIDN'T WANT TO PICK UP OR MOVE MY ITEMS AND INSIST I HELP THEM OR THEY SCAN AND I MOVE IT FOR THEM. THIS LAST VISIT WAS THE WORSE I HAVE NO PROBLEM WIITH THE STORE EXCEPT CHECK OUT. THE WORKERS DO NOT LIKE TO FOOL WITH BIG ORDERS THEY SEEM TO ME TO ONLY WANT TO VISIT WITH THIER FRIENDS WHO ARE SHOPPING AND LITTLE ORDERS THAT FIT ON THE NEW CHECK OUT BELTS. IT IS MORE LIKE GOING TO THE LOCAL GROCERY STORE THAN THE SAMS I HAVE KNOWN IN THE PAST.

I WAS TOLD BY THE CHECKER HER SUPERVISIOR AND THE BIG MANAGER RON THE MAN, WO COULD CARE LESS IF I OR ANYONE IS HELPED JUST SO LONG YOU DO NOT DISTURB HIM ON HIS SET ON HIS *** TIME, THAT I MUST OBEY THE CHECK OUT RULES, WHICH I DO NOT SEE POSTED OR HAVE NO IDEA OF, AND THE RULES ARE AS I WAS TOLD. IF I SHOP WITH A FLAT I MUST GO TO ONE OF THE LAST CHECK OUT LINES, WHICH ARE NOT MARKED AS FLAT LINES ONLY, BUT I SHOULD KNOW THIS, IF NO ONE IS WORKING THESE LINES I AM TO GO AND FIND A SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER AND LET THEM KNOW I NEED A CHECK OUT PERSON. IF THEY CAN NOT FIND ONE THEN WITH A SUPERVISORS PERMISSION I MAY GO THROUGH A REGULAR LINE THE CHASIER AND THE SUPERVISOR WILL CHECK ME OUT--BECAUSE ON THE REGULAR LINE THE CASHIER DOES NOT CHANGE EACH ITEM FROM ONE FLAT TO ANOTHER THEY JUST SCAN THE ITEMS(AS I WAS TOLD BY THE GIRL WHO CHECKED ME OUT THIS IS TO KEEP HER FROM BEEING SO WORE OUT WHEN SHE GETS OFF.) THEY SAID THEY ARE HAVING PROBLEMS NOW BECAUSE THEY FORGET TO CK ALL ITEMS AND SO MUCH PRODUCTS ARE GETTING OUT THE DOOR UNPAID FOR---AS I TOLD THEM I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM I HAVE HAD ALL MY ITEMS SCANNED ----BUT I CAN SEE THAT WITH ALL THE NOT WANTING TO PICK UP ANYTHING OUT OF BUGGIES OR FLATS AND SELECTIVE CUSTOMERS HOW THEY COULD MISS WHAT EVER THEY CHOOSE TO FORGET TO SCAN. THIS LAST VISIT TOOK OVER 1 HOUR TO CHECK OUT AND THE CASHIER HAD TO KEEP LEAVING TO GO GET SOMEONE TO HELP HER EXPLAIN THE NEW RULES.

AT FIRST I WAS EMBARASSED-EVRYONE IN THE STORE WAS LOOKING AT ME AND SHE WAS LOUD THE MANAGER TREATED ME AND TALKED DOWN TO ME AS IF I WERE A DOG OR JUST A ***, WHICH I DID TELL HIM I WAS NOT RETARTED. I WAS GOING TO JUST LEAVE EVERYTHING THERE BUT FINALLY THE CHASIER DECIDED SHE WOULD CHECK ME OUT-----WOW ALL I WANTED WAS TO BUY MY ORDER AND LEAVE---AS I SAID BEFORE I GO WEEKLY TO SAMS FOR MY BUSINESS BUT I CAN'T AFFORD TO GO AND WASTE SO MUCH TIME -I HAVE ALREADY LAODED THIS STUFF ON THE FLAT AND MUST UNLOAD AGAIN INTO THE VEHICLE AND THEN UNLOAD AT MY BUSINESS IF I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE LINE AND HANDLE EACH ITEM AGAIN I CAN GO TO MY LOCAL GROCERY STORE AND THEY WILL BAG IT AND PACK IT OUT FOR ME----WITH NO ARGUEMENT NOT TRY TO SHAME ME, AND BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BETTER YET JUST TREATED LIKE A CUSTOMER.

I am sorry that happened to you, the flat-bed lanes are there for the convenience of those using flat beds because usually the purchase is items that may not fit on a conveyor belt. Those lanes are made with room instead to move items flatbed to flatbed.

Cashiers at conveyor belt registers should still be able to perform this action if no cashier is on a flatbed lane, though its a little bit trickier space-wise.

The cashier is required to move items to a new flatbed to mitigate the potential for errors (both over and under-charges) It seems like the club your shopping at is taking some of the policies a bit too literally and enforcing them a bit overzealously. Ask to speak to a manager if you have an issue, (not a supervisor in a green vest) and if that fails, ask for the Market Manager's number if you continue to recieve bad service.

I didn't read the whole complaint because it is all in caps and there are no paragraphs. It makes it very difficult to read. Just an observations.
