Purchased 27 Vanilla MasterCard Gift Cards through an online order on Sam's Club. Received 22 of the 27, 5 were missing.
The Packing slip only said 22. Tracked my order on Sam's Club and it said the entire 27 order was delivered, yet we only received 1 package of the 22. Contacted Sam's Club 88-746- 7726 phone number regarding the missing gift cards and was transferred to a supervisor by the name of Elliott Baker. Mr.
Elliott said he would look into it and call back in a few hours. Waited until almost the end of the day, and still no phone call. Called the 888 number back to speak to Elliott only to be informed that he is a supervisor at a store, not at the facility that we were calling, and he never gave us a call back phone number. The rep that answered the phone put in a ticket for Elliott to call back.
Shortly after, he called and said that there is nothing that he can do since the Vanilla MasterCard Gift Cards are "third party", and that he would open a ticket for Vanilla MasterCard to contact us - it should take no longer than 48 hours. Waited 4 days, and never received a call from Vanilla MasterCard or Elliott Baker w/ Sam's Club. Contacted Vanilla MasterCard myself only to find out Elliott never opened a ticket... So much for customer service from "Supervisor" Elliott Baker.
Still having issues with receiving the missing cards and it is going on 1 week.
NEVER will I purchase gift cards from Sam's Club again since they cannot do anything about missing items. Thinking about cancelling the membership.
