Sam's Club offered a "One Day Sale", Saturday only pre-Black Friday sale. Lots of great deals advertised, of course too good to be true.

Sam's ran out of the VERY limited number of the sale items they had in stock within minutes of the store opening. They KNEW this would happen, in fact it was their PLAN. Classic bait and switch. The ad failed to mention the very limited supply, that no rain checks would be issued and the store offered no substitutions.

Just A Big Joke to get people in the store. I left the without making ANY purchase, and definitely WILL NOT be renewing my club membership.

Product or Service Mentioned: Sams Club Deal.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Store did not have merchandise, Store manager attitude.

Sam's club on-line sale was supposed to start at 12:01 am today but the 2-in-1 laptop was not available when signed in before that time and at that time the product was not available.

Below is the response I received from Sam's Club customer service. The response is both grossly inadequate and grammatically deficient.

While hiding a disclaimer in the fine print at the bottom of an interior page of a multi-page circular may meet the legal requirement for disclosure, it most certainly does not meet my personal requirement. Here is the response from Sam's:

"We are sorry to inform you, there were limited quantities on all items, while supplies lasted. Due to a high demand our items went out of stock quickly. The one day sale event ad was available online to look at.

At the bottom of the ad it stated limited quantities, no rain checks. The flyer you received on page 5. On the bottom of the page in they fine print.

In bold letters it states while supplies last. I do apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you."
