I bought two leather sofas six months back. The sofas have one year manufacturer warranty and are covered by Sams club satisfaction guarantee.

Now of sofa has problems like leather is tearing part. The store in Normal, IL refused to return or exchange. They even told that furniture does not come under member satisfaction guarantee, which I believe is completely lie.

Since I used online purchase/pay at store option, store said to contact samsclub.com and customer service at smasclub.com ask to contact store. I would never buy expensive store form samsclub.

Product or Service Mentioned: Sams Club Warranty.

Reason of review: not keeping up with member satisfaction guarantee and selling poor quality merchandise..

Monetary Loss: $700.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Call the 800 customer service number and ask for a supervisor, they'll ask you what the problem is before connecting you (because they're suppose to resolve your problem before getting you to a supervisor). Tell them what your problem is, usually they'll resolve it for you, if they say they can't help, that's when you turn around and ask to speak with a supervisor again.

Don't hang up without being connected with a supervisor, sometimes they'll get mad and act like they're connecting you and hang up on you.

If that happens call right back and ask for a supervisor, this time when they ask can they help, tell them no, you just wanna be connected to a supervisor. There's a good chance you'll get some replacement furniture.

I agree. However this had member satisfaction guarantee on their website.

Staff at store said something complete opposite. They did not even bother to look at website.

Lesson learned-don't buy expensive item from samsclub and avoid club pickup option because you don't the quality of item in box. It's hassle to return bulky item for minor issues.
