I bought a car battery at Sam's Club in December 2014. It died in January 2015.
AAA battery service tested it: bad battery. I towed the car to a mechanic who tested it: bad battery. Sam's Club refuses to honor their warranty. Their story is there's nothing wrong with the battery.
They claim they tested it. Then they claim they gave it a more rigorous test on "the big machine." Then they tested my alternator and starter to see if the problem might be something other than the battery (even they agree it isn't).
Unless you want to end up in small claims court, don't buy a car battery at Sam's Club.
