Sams Club - Workers don't understand their own warranty.
I bought an iPod touch a little over a year ago. When I bought it the cashier asked if I wanted to buy an extended warranty plan for it so it will still be covered after Apple warranty is up after a year.
I bought the 2 year service plan because they said it covered everything from wear and tear damage to even washing it. Well the screen stopped working after it was dropped one time. I went in the store and talked to two more different people who told me the company could replace it and that it was covered.
When I called the warranty company, they said they do NOT cover problems that occur with wear and tear damage even though all three Sam's Club workers told me it did. Either they all lied to make me want to buy the coverage, or they all simply didn't understand their own warranty policies, which I think if your'e going to help a customer and sell them warranty, they should at least understand the warranty policies themselves.

Apple is responsible in year 1. Warranty after that covers electronic failure, NOT liquid or physical damage. Have Club Mgr call warranty administrator adn you'll get action.
I work at Sam's and the warranty is not what its cracked up to be, there is always the fine print that people pay no attention to you have 90 days to bring it back to Sams period when you purchase that warranty you have to go through all the bs of returning it to that company. I usually dont even offer it because it sucks!!
